Nine Years Cancer Free!

Nine years ago today Michael got suddenly ill. Through the years we have grown closer than ever. I would like to thank all of our family and friends for helping us get through that extremely difficult time. You will never know how much that means. Thank you Brownie for waking us up, Dr. Prakash Sampath for doing an... amazing job with the surgery and Michael for fighting to live. Michael has never looked back from that horrible day. Please share Michael's Journey to inspire others. He is today and always will be an inspiration. I am the luckiest mother in the world to have three amazing children, Mike Hartley, Eric Richard Hartley and Lauren Hartley. I love you all so much. My husband, Richard Hartley, is my rock and I love him more today than ever.

All My Love, Laura/Mom/Wifey

First, congratulations for still having Micheal and that he is living a great life. Second, Hartley is my maiden name!!! My paternal grandfather's family was from Nebraska and Virginia. It isn't a very common name. Small world. XOXO, Carol
