Cancer Type: Breast Cancer
Stage of Cancer: Stage 2 cancer
Breast Cancer Symptoms: Feeling sometimes bitchy I put that down to arimidex. I hate the revisiting of menopause, night sweats, etc. Sometimes I just feel tired and can't keep up. UPDATE AUG/08. Not as tired anymore, but the rest is the same.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Lumpectomy May 2007. No side effects. Recouperated really well. My scars are barely noticeable. But one breast is slightly smaller. Hard to tell since I am a DD, but I can. UPDATE AUG/08. Can not see the scar, but feel a solid 4" line under my arm where lymph nodes were checked.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Pamidronate or otherwise known as Aredia. Assists in replenishing bone loss. Given via IV monthly. Tired, headache after treatment, diarrehia, bones ache all over. MAR/08 New treatment - Clasteon - 4 pills/day but NO IV. HOORAY. No side effects except bone pain. Cervical Cancer Symptoms: abnormal bleeding between periods, after/during intercourse, pelvic pain, painful intercourse
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Colposcopy on Dec 5. Large biopsy of Cervix via LEEP Procedure January 29. Results came back positive for Cancer on February 12, 2013.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 5 chemotherapy sessions with cisplatin over 5 weeks

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Double mastectomy with no reconstruction on August 11, 2009. I had a very good surgical experience. No real side-effects other than some persistent numbness around the two large scars, encompassing my entire chest. I was very fortunate to have been competing in triathlons prior to my surgery - it allowed my body to respond very well.
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: Infusion #1 - 09-22-09. Severe joint pain in lower back, knees, and ankles. Intense nausea. Infusion #2 - Intense nausea. Severe joint pain. Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: I have had two craniotomy's. The first was just after diagnosis on 10/02/2012 and the second was after they found a recurrence and was performed on 03/05/2014
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: I tooke Temodar pills from 08/2013 to 12/2013. The main side effects that I had were fatigue and nausea. I found that by taking my Zofran a half hour before bed and then taking the Temodar right before I went to sleep, I was able to sleep through most of the side effects.

Cervical Cancer Symptoms: Pain, fatigue. The pain is not always there, but lately it has been more constant. Sometimes it's mild, sometimes it's just plain throbbing pain. Another reason not to have cancer added in my life's favorite to-do-things list =P
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: I'll be having a complete hysterectomy. But before that I have to have a cardioseal implanted in my heart, so that will be scheduled first. Hopefully, within the next two weeks, because we need to get moving on this!
